CHEVRON CANADA
In the 90′s, while Chevron US was launching their eco-friendly “Chevron Car” campaign, Chevron Canada was doing the same using their long running, ”Your Town Pump” campaign. This campaign’s commercial involved their spokesperson, “Chevron Man”, interacting seemlessly with computer generated sunflowers for two seperate spots.
LG ELECTRONICS
The advertising firm for LG Electronics in Korea had approached our post-production house. They wanted us to work on a commercial that would involve compositing, motion control camera work, product modeling and particle effects. Both my collegue and I were responsible for the latter three portions and this is the resulting commercial.
HOME DEPOT
I created several short “how-to” animations for this multimedia CD-ROM title back in 1995. At the time, Home Depot was releasing the first edition of their Home Improvement 1-2-3 book and was looking at doing a tie in promotion. The entire art team worked closely with the original illustrator to keep the style consistant between the two mediums.
X10 TECHNOLOGIES
X10 Technologies, came to the post-production house wanting to create a few beauty shots of their new line of products. Working from both prototypes and mechanical drawings, not only did we deliver detailed illustrations, but we were also able to leverage the digital content to make several animations as well.
IVAR’S SEAFOOD RESTAURANTS
In 1997, the advertising team behind Ivar’s Seafood Restaurant, a chain in Washington, approached our post-production house wanting to create a “retrospective” commercial that featured shorts of their three character mascots in various forms over their 50 year history. Our task was to modernize these characters into the relatively new world of 3D.
